In 1993, with over three decades of experience in international insurance and finance, Ian Kilpatrick undertook a bold initiative with the founding of Crusader International Group to provide captive and alternative risk structures and wealth management services to privately owned businesses. In 2002, operations were expanded into the United States and, in 2009 all the entities of the organization came under the overarching brand, Lionheart Insurance Group.

As Lionheart Insurance Group, we operate from a number of offshore and domestic domiciles that have efficient insurance legislation. Our group is comprised of captive insurance managers, domestic and offshore Rent-a-Captive facilities and domestic and offshore life and annuity companies. In the United States, we also operate an insurance agency, which is licensed in all states. The life and annuity companies invest funds through specifically-designed insurance policies whose dedicated funds are available only to their policyholders.
